Things to consider
Patients will usually experience some degree of swelling, redness, and tenderness after the procedure. These symptoms are common and should resolve within a few days. It is recommended that you do not pursue any laser treatments during the healing process due to the risk of inflammation. Makeup and lipstick should also be avoided. This will give your skin the opportunity to heal and minimise the risk of complications.
There is practically no downtime after this procedure. The small puncture sites caused by the needle may be present for a day or so afterwards, but this does not typically inhibit patients from resuming their normal daily activities.
When will I see results?
Results can be seen immediately after the procedure. However, results will be most evident once any residual redness or swelling subsides, leaving you with a natural-looking elevated appearance.
