What to expect
Before your treatment begins, your provider will prepare the treatment area by cleansing and marking the area to be treated. They may apply a gel to the skin to help with the delivery of radiofrequency energy or attach electrodes for muscle sculpting.
The treatment can typically take around 15 to 60 minutes, depending on the areas being treated. During this time, you will either lie down or sit comfortably while the handheld device is placed on the treatment area. The device will deliver radiofrequency energy or electrical muscle stimulation, which may cause a warming or tingling sensation. Some patient’s describe the sensation as similar to a hot stone massage.
TruBody is non-invasive and does not require any downtime, allowing you to resume your daily routine as normal. Depending on your individual needs and goals, multiple treatment sessions may be recommended to achieve the best results.
Things to consider
After the procedure, you may feel warmth and notice flushing in the treated area, which typically lasts for around an hour. Mild touch sensitivity, light bruising, and fatigue may also be experienced for a few days, but you can resume your normal activities immediately.
