Things to consider
No downtime is required after skin needling treatment, which means you are free to resume your daily activities. Patients will have a very flushed look from the procedure, which can take the appearance of a slight sunburn and lasts around 24-72 hours. The skin will immediately feel hot post-treatment, but this feeling usually subsides after a few hours. The skin around the treated area may also feel sensitive and tight, but these mild symptoms will usually fade within a day. In the days after treatment, patients may experience some skin shedding resulting from the healing process. It’s important to take appropriate care of the skin to reduce any adverse reactions.
