WHAT TO EXPECT DURING REJURAN TREATMENT
It’s important to note that every patient’s experience and pain tolerance differs, but this treatment can feel sharp/stingy during the injection. Some people report a tight and prickling sensation that can last a few minutes – and depending on the treatment site, sensitivity can decrease/increase.
Rejuran is injected directly into the dermis (middle layer of the skin), where there are nerve endings, tiny blood vessels and connective tissue. For these reasons, some pain is to be expected and totally normal and also a sign it’s been injected at the correct depth.
Patients will receive a Rejuran Soothing Mask immediately after the treatment, but the stinging sensation generally subsides within minutes. The treatment as a whole is reasonably quick, usually taking approx. 15 minutes. The entire consultation will take around 45 – 60min. If you wish to discuss any pain relief or numbing, please raise this when booking your appointment, so we can factor this into your time allocation.

DR SEANS TRIP TO KOREA
At the end of 2025, Dr Sean Arendse, alongside 600 aesthetic and medical professionals from around the globe, met in Korea for The PharmaResearch Global Symposium. This three day event included a pre-symposium DOT™ Tour where the master trainer’s group travelled to Yangyang, to visit the natural salmon habitat of Rejuran. The PGS Scientific Symposium included a number of sessions, presentations, and case discussions that offered an opportunity for evidence-based discussions and shared experiences and insights. Dr Sean had a great time and this trip further reiterated his focus and passion for the importance of clinician-led education and how it best supports best-practice standards.
